I had a IR test booked last week that was cancelled due to weather. My second was booked for yesterday.
Arrived at the test centre after repositioning. When I took off with the examiner and put the gear up I had a gear unsafe light. So had to turn back otherwise I would have failed the departure section
. What I would say is the examiner was very fair and it was bad luck on the day. On a good note I avoided loosing any money regarding test fees or a/c hire. My training school were very good at sorting things and rearranging.
Hopefully will have another go next week as everything is booked rest of this week
