Being something of a control freak I've been subdued prior to a variety of procedures c/o Midazolam. Difficult to explain how it feels, but it's never failed to strip me of my irrational fears. That said, I'm sure situations and uses vary enormously. Good stuff though! I have made numerous apologies to amused nurses for my induced bouts of verbal diarrhea.

It wasn't until I started working for the NHS that I found out you're not supposed to have an MRI scan if you have metal in you. I worked for a few years in engineering and inhaled gawd knows how much grinding dust, but it didn't get magically magnetised out of me through whatever was in its way when I had an MRI. Go figure.

Pleased to hear the news is positive.
