Canadian B737 Type ratings
The FAA includes ALL models of the 737 in the one type rating. Transport Canada breaks them into 3 groups - Originals (100 & 200), Classic (300, 400, & 500), and the NG (600, 700 & 800 - no 900s in Canada yet). These are put on your ATPL as B73A, B73B, or B73C respectively. I have been given to understand than any of these would be considered equivalent to, and allow the issue of the FAA "B737" type rating, but I cannot find a suitable reference.
