Those were the days. Maybe five passengers to Kagoshima if we were lucky and zero or at the best one or two pax to HNL from Majuro. Losses in the millions but who cared. Best job in the world for the pilots. Pity about the poor Nauruans back on their island with run down hospital, wrecked schools, with no funds for either and the hosties on a huge salary of 20 bucks a week while training and a 100 bucks a week while flying. Tax free of course...
