I thought I would liven up the thread by posting a comment about aeroplanes as opposed to the antics of LBC!
Nice to see a post, which isn't from an Arm Chair airport manager, telling the world how LTN should be run!
From what I understand the number of aircraft easyJet base at LTN has not changed, but I am happy to be corrected.
From what I heard, when the airlines plans for the winter timetable was announced, what they were doing was keeping the number of aircraft at the airport the same. However several of the aircraft would fly off in the morning on one of the airlines routes and then between other bases and then not return till the evening.
Dortmund I understand is one of the airports in this situation.
Other than this, I think the aircraft have also not been so heavily utilised as you would expect for a LCC.
Looking at the summer timetable it seems to very much return to normal, as summer 08.
