I am impressed...more sheep shaggers on here than I thought
...Alabaster it is.
I think Mt Aspiring was in cloud yesterday...saw it today on my way to another strip which I will link a short vid of when I can...wonderful fun...way more challenging than most PNG strips...blowing a gale for one and VERY short and VERY thin...but a great cup of coffee and nice cake served by the residents...we bought them some mags/bread/fruit and the last few days news papers...very remote.
The South Island is SOMETHING ELSE...Sarge and I are having a ball giving his 185 a work out. Done two days now and starting to get the lay of the land...mostly Sarge just says "fly over that way...land there"
Overnighting tonight at his sisters place...landed in the paddock back of her house.
Edit: Most impressed...having discussed it at length with the household it IS Mt Aspiring looking south towards the Matukituki (which was clagged yesterday - went (up/down?) it today on the way to somewhere more challenging than Alabaster.
