Last time I was there was back on the first Ex Pegasus Strike, where it remained distinctly non-wet all the time we were there. Well up until our final night there when it hammered down all night.
For us wing-less mortals there was a cracking little road side cafe on the A75 near the Water of Fleet on the route to WF, where you could just about squeeze an average TSW FRP-sized convoy onto the lay-by outside in order to experience their fantastic square sausage sandwiches.
