It's a cyclical industry and EK is not going to be immune to its ups and downs. The question is how well is EK going to do compared to the other players? - and looking at the sh*t that most of them are in at the moment it's doing OK.
Of course the previous decision to buy wajid wide bodies and attempt to connect all inhabited continents to Dubai may not have been the best one they made in todays environment.
Of course the best airline to work for in times like this are outfits like EY which dont have to make a profit to survive..
