How could you know the swallow is one of my favourite birds! I can often be found around the Lan Kwai Fong district in search of the elusive wide-mouthed Chinese swallow. My other favourite bird is the kiwi, the adorable flightless bird of New Zealand, which is the only bird named after a fruit. Here is a question (not for NL) - are New Zealanders (Kiwis) named after the bird or the fruit?
