Wonder if it is ex-PanAm stock? Most of the SPs were built for PanAm although I wouldn't ruleout the Arabs acquiring them new as biz planes with that extra leg room or toys.
I saw a brown/gold SP at Hurn about 10 years ago so its been flying in a good while.
