Hi Nithro,
If you're looking to work the North Sea eventually upon returning home you need to also allow for a JAA instrument rating. Otherwise you will more than likely not be employable. It's a different animal to the FAA instrument rating and it has to be done in a full instrument ship. It's priced at a stupid amount of money (somewhere around €35,000 I think). I have heard rumors of some place in Denmark though that does it for a lot less than the rest of the schools(don't know who they are, or how they do it).
