Silverelise - you did the right thing switching to VS, as I have whenever I can.
Upper deck on BA still rocks when compared to the rather cramped downstairs cabins but no point in venturing anywhere these days to 'raid the larder' as there is usually precious little to raid, especially on return sectors.
As for today's 'washbags' well, in that respect it really doesn't matter where you sit whether you are on VS or BA, because they are equally poor. At least VS still have the sleeper suits though
