I just thought i'd pass on some info, I have a tattoo on my wrist too. I went to the Gulf air interviews at the start of feb and got the job, however they do not like tattoos... they checked our arms and legs for large scars and tattoos... i am now in the process of removing mine as I cant start the job with it. I had lasrer treatment but after finding out that it might take 4-8 months and they can only hold my place for 6 months max i am now going to have cosmetic surgery. If you can cover it with make up give it a go but i was made to take my plaster off in my interview.... it sucks big time but they dont like them. Your airline might be different but i thought id just warn you!
