Annual Vacation leave
Our company has a primitive Annual Vacation Leave policy. We actually don't have one!
It is (supposedly) on a first-come-first-served basis but what happens is that the more enterprising book their full entitlement of leave 3 years ahead, leaving the less intrepid to fill up the gaps, even after having booked their leave a full year ahead.
On venting some anger about the present system, i was asked to come up with suggestions to reform the system and I would like to consult other companies as to their leave allocation policy.
