one day there were some serious crosswinds - and the majoirty of planes that come in and out of there are your pipers and cessna SEPs - well one was coming in on finals waving about the place like a blue arsed fly - got caught ina crosswind and nised stright into a sandbank in the tay - everyone survived on board iirc which is pretty amazing, the plane was there for ages
