I think you will find that most of the jobs will be local jobs, as when EUjet and MK were in full flight ( excuse the pun!!!) please tell, if its not an airport you want, what is it?? more cabbage fields to pay huge wages to the employees who pick them!! perhaps another golf course, for all the retired people in thanet. Its nice to see the Thanet Earth project working so well, (paid) it a visit the other day ,full of eastern Europe workers.
Please, the people of Thanet have more to offer than picking fruit and veg, if the Airport were to work it would supply work for the local people, but not just work, an excellent and hugely enjoyable experience, as all on PPRUNE who actually have anthing to do with avation will tell you.
