Thanks for your reply.. Well i really don't fancy working in Korea, many of my friends tried and advised against the place.. I mean its fine, I'm prepared to do the ground school for 6 months etc to get the Japanese ATPL, but my concern is whether my light aircraft hours would be an issue? The fact is, we needed only 200PIC to get the CPL, then it was on to L1011 in my case, then Airbus 320/330/340 and now i fly 744.. I do hold currently a FAA ATPL.. So what i need to know is if the Japanese authorities are going to look at my light aircraft hours, when in fact i have the requirement flying big jets!! Thanks so much..
