It has long been held on this site that those who actually know/knew the people involved in fatal incidents will be able to make their feelings known to their friends and families first hand so won't need to post such messages here.
By all means the rest of us can learn from and (properly) discuss the incident(s) while harbouring whatever thoughts we like but wailing and gnashing of teeth is quite meaningless as are guessing, speculation, accusatory comments and posts that say nothing other than "I never knew them but.....".
Yes, those involved and the bereaved deserve our respect. The best way that we, their fellow professionals, can show that respect is to bear the above in mind before clicking on 'Submit Reply'.
