The A330-300 is replacing the 777-200 on routes to Australia and Japan.

Singapore Airlines -- News Releases

Boeing: Boeing Statement Regarding Singapore Airlines 787 Dreamliner Announcement

Old Aero Guy

I hear SQ made a fair bit of revenue off Airbus in 2006 from the A380s. SQs first A380 first flew in May 2006.

Now tell me :

When was the 787 originally supposed to fly ? 27 Aug 2007
When was first delivery originally schedule ? 31 May 2008

So it was delayed, what is the update

When was the 787 now supposed to fly ? 15 Nov 2007
When was first delivery originally schedule ? 31 May 2008

So it was delayed again, what is the update

When was the 787 now supposed to fly ? 31 Mar 2008
When was first delivery originally schedule ? 6 Dec 2008

So it was delayed again, what is the update

When was the 787 now supposed to fly ? 30 Jun 2008
When was first delivery originally schedule ? 7 Mar 2009

So it was delayed again, what is the update

When was the 787 now supposed to fly ? 31 Oct 2008
When was first delivery originally schedule ? 5 Sep 2009

So it was delayed again, what is the update

When will it fly ? unknown unknown *
When will the first delivery be ? unknown unknown *

* Boeing term often used associated with the 787 delays.

You are doing a good job of trying to divert the topic away from the 787 delays, but everyone can see the childish maneuvers are not working.

The A380 is flying, has great passenger appeal, and great reliability, all the problems people like yourself flagged have all proved unfounded. This cannot be said about the 747-8 which also should be flying by now.

The 787 has not flown, and will be the most delayed commercial aircraft that I can remember, another wonderful Boeing 787 achievement.
