Airmanship

Sorry for the delay in replying but have been doing some visiting of old friends.
I was an instructor at the Royal, on the Chippys and other aircraft, during 1960 and 1961. The all over field concept was part of the folklore of Bankstown, it all worked and your reference to "Airmanship" was a good badge. I was lucky enough to win a
" Butler Air Transport Trophy " presented for Airmanship in March 1958. The term Airmanship is just as valid today as it was all those years ago.
After the Royal I went over the Mountains to progress my long career in Aviation.
