Laptops
A couple of months ago we started working with laptops. Intended to replace books, OM's, performance AFM's etc. the gadget is still mainly used for watching DVD's with the crews on nightstop.
First of all I was wondering if the laptops are still more or less a novelty or if there are many airlines using them.
Second; What are your opinions on the benifits for the carriers using them. Will it eventually weigh up to the costs.
Last but not least; Do the people also working with laptops find it to be an improvement compared to the good ol' books?
Concerning performance issues I'm still far quicker with the book, unless we have 12mm of slush on a 2000m runway.
