If yr statement above is why some posts get deleted (& it' fair enough especially if libelous) then why have a lot of mine & others for Eg been deleted for such terrible things like thread drifting or even the more heinous (God I hate those words I always have to look 'em up to stop the spelling police from getting over excited
) crime of posting too much? Would PPRUNE be sued beyond recognition for that?

Look this is a commercial adventure right? By way of adds & all the crap that goes with it to support the site, what does an advertiser want most for his dollar? LOOKERS !!
Most threads tend to die off after a while anyway drifting or not, in fact once a lot of thread drifting is obvious the way I would see it is that the original subject has run it's course to some degree & humor/fun has taken over, a crime perhaps?
Anyway perhaps this thread ought to be locked b4 TID comes along, some of us have our knecks stuck out a long way from being honest here
