There is a handy little manual that I use from time to time published by Rockwell Collins... It's called "Collins AVIONICS GLOSARY", "A handy compendium of terms and acronyms associated with the avionics industry".
Even though it's focused on Avionics stuff it's still pretty handy. Like most of us, I love and hate acronyms in aviation. I love em because it saves time, but hate them because there's just so many of them I can never remember the buggers
