I personally feel that BMIr could operate in the future as a Lufthansa regional airline. I also think there is some truth in talks between the two companies (Flybe and BMIr) but it is more likely to be about movement of E145s than a company takeover.

So yes I agree with your assessment however I wouldn't think BMIr would rush into recruitment at present. My feeling is that regional operators flying short Northern European sectors can still operate just as efficiently with lower crewing levels and in the current climate this would make good business sense.

Keep the hours ticking over to meet future recruitment requirements guys things will change. Flybe themselves by Q4 2009 will be operating 14 E195 and 60 Q400 so keep an eye on the website for applications to fill TR courses beginning round Aug/Sep.
