Ok I accept that some might not think that the LEJ are stunning...but it's all relative...
Not so long ago when I worked for a certain Low Co with a EI reg, I was required to night stop in Prestwick...The co very kindly booked me a room in the Toby Carlton (it's a pub) in Ayr. I'd stayed at the establishment once before in the 90's ( when I was flying Seneca's and doing Air Taxi) ...and I can honestly say (it was crap in the 90's) that I don't think the decor had been updated from my previous visit..
SO... I know DHL could do more, but I feel that they generally try to make some effort to male the job less unbearable...
And in DHL you WOULDN'T EVER be asked to stay in the Toby Carlton in Ayr...
