So much for the JAR licence in the French eyes then.
Nothing has changed in reality since 1996 when I couldn't walk across the apron in CDG with my French co-pilot if my OO reg Boeing went twang and climb into the F reg one next door.
Both were operated by the same company, but one was on the F AOC that they held & the other on the Belg version.
Somewhat ridiculous, but hey, how come I am not surprised.
At least we don't reciprocate the courtesy, and Frogs and other species, are welcomed happily in Ryanair & Easy Jet, assuming they speak (well more or less) the language of aviation.
