Last Years AFPRB was published in early Feb - so assuming they are on a similar timetable this year most of the work must have been done in the Autumn before the true horror of the results of The Noo Labour Project set in - well lets hope so. But for next year....
Regarding pensions, IIRC (and I have long since lost the handy brochure) Armed Forces Pension are Negotiable Instruments which, again IIRC, puts them beyond the grubby hands of current politicians and would involve the overthrow of the Monarchy to effect a change.
