1. Yes Peel are property developers.
2. The local authoritys have either totally forgotten they own part of and airport or they have been misled by the propaganda pumped out by Peel as no one seems to say what a mess the place is in.
3. Surplus land, but brown field land there is god knows what berried on the Southside along with asbestos sheds on the surface nevermind the concrete pans and taxi ways.
4. Planning is harder than Carlisle. If councilor Jones and her NIMBY's get wind of anything they will kick off, remember the first Southside development well they sucuppered that.
I wouldn't be surprised if Peel don't eventually sell the whole site.
