Without wishing to be disparaging to the individual involved I find it hard to believe that someone whose CV convinced the airport to employ him as a manual worker on baggage handling can now be in charge of an International Airport within 9 months. I have heard of field promotion at time of war on the battlefield but this seems to be a little strange to say the least.
P.S. I have seen lots of aeroplanes take off and land .Any chance of a job as an air traffic controller?
