According to information from Manila, Zest Air has difficulties in getting their 2nd A320 into the air. The aircraft is not being given a CofA because Zest Air can not show that they have the proper procedures in place to operate this type of plane safely.

Zest Air proceeds with refleeting plans
Zest Air said that despite a recent airport runway incident in Caticlan airport, it will continue its re-fleeting program this year.
Formerly called Asian Spirit, the local airline now controlled by food and drinks businessman Alfred Yao, said it received a new Airbus 320 for its refleeting program just a day before one of its smaller aircrafts made a hard landing at the Caticlan airport in Aklan province.
Zest Air director Arturo Alejandrino said the its second Airbus 320 will be delivered soon, highlighting that the
company's refleeting program will proceed as scheduled.
On Sunday, one of Zest Air's new turbo propeller plane made a hard landing on the runway of Caticlan and hit the tarmac's barrier, leaving a number of its passengers injured. It also causing other planes to reroute, delaying passengers bound for the popular island paradise Boracay.
The incident caused the temporary closure of Caticlan airport on Sunday. The airport resumed operations on Monday afternoon.
Alejandrino said the airline was making the necessary procedures to make sure that the incident would not happen again.
The airline has ten daily flights between Manila and Caticlan. It also serves 19 provincial destinations.
The airline was planning to become a regional carrier, with flights to Hong Kong, Korea, Macau, China, and Thailand from its base in Clark.
