Yes they are strict I would recommend wearing the suit or the blazer with dress pants atleast! Alot of people buy stuff to wear to the interviews. It doesn't have to be expensive, just neat, respectable and stylish. They are fussy they said girls must wear a knee length skirt and skin coloured stockings, though one of thier uniforms for girl is pants, I've seen it. Some girls came with no stockings and it didn't look polished or professional. It is superficial but it is how it is! It even said somewhere on the Emirates site that you must have a clear complexion. For guys I'd recommend not spiking your hair too much or have it too long or shaggy- conservative is key!
