With Aer Lingus, I think the problem would be that they are not lo-co so it may be a risky venture. Lo-cos have always done well at CWL such as WW, BE and TOM (I know currently it doesn't look it, but think....they are still here) But if Aer Lingus did i.e. follow in Gatwick's footsteps, then I could see many more irish routes such as Belfast, Cork, Dublin and Shannon all being possiblities even with high competion. Also route in Europe such as Rome, Milan, Hamburg, Berlin, Oslo, Zurich, Vienna and Malta all being on the cards. Remember Cardiff is not the only airport having problems this year, at least we are not a Coventry (no offence). But give Cardiff and the airlines 2009 to get back up on their feet and they will tackle 2010 full force
Also with the cutting of routes..... look at the positive.....they are still here!
