I don't know, Darren, if you are one of the Community who lives in Newham next to the airport, like I do, but the aircraft noise is not intrusive and, in fact, there is more noise from an inbound overhead for a Heathrow 28 arrival passing overhead at 4,000 feet putting its first stage of flaps out than ever there is from a 146 inbound to or outbound from City. And it's winter, and we are all sat at home with the windows closed.
There's so little concern for airport operations here that the airport finds it hard going to get any interest for their statutorily-required Consultative Committee.
