Get some prespective on the disturbance that causes. It's not as if Newham is inundated with jobs and wealth for Goodness sake. Of all the places to be a NIMBY this is nuts. Good that a lot of visitors to our country were forced to cross London to LHR / LGW and got home very late. The lack of sensible decision making and lack of initiative is killing the UK. We're all a slave to ( badly draughted and poorly implemented ) rules.
This is way different from a B747-400 going off LHR at 2am which although not in curfew causes a Hell of a lot more disturbance
