Modular or Integrated?

Sorry to ask something that has probably ben asked before. I spent 20 minutes searching about this but I could only find different topics that where 20 pages long and didnīt contain much about this.

So wich is the best way to go?

Pleas give me some arguments if you decide to say that one another is the best.
