Qatar Airways New entrant Cabin Crew
for anyone looking to work for Qatar Airways, I have just attended an open day.
In local currency (Qatar)
3 yr contract. tax free pay. into an account that they will open for you.
Basic 3300 per month
about 40 per hour flight pay.
minimum 65 hours per month.
Deductions will be taken from your pay for the first 21 months. after this period you will be given all the money back.
- housing is all free of charge, all bills paid, except for a housing deposit that is part of the deductions.
- It is a dry country, no alcohol, alcohol is available in hotel bars and airport. none to be kept in the rooms.
- No pork in the country
- No smoking airline.
- seperate buildings for males and females.
- visiting hours are between 7am - 10 pm after this no guests.
- free transport to work. transport on days off can be difficult.
- training lasts 7 weeks on basic pay, 6 on 1 off.
- sober 24 hours before a shift
- you can take 14 days sick on full pay per year, after that it is on reduced pay.
- all uniform free, except bags, (£74) which are added to your deductions.
- candidates must be single for the 3yr contract.
- 30 days off per year.
