-56.5 is the ISA temp minimum at the tropopause, however it is feasible that the temperature could be below this.
From my seemingly bottomless pit of pub trivia, the lowest recorded OAT was on an Antarctic Mountain (11,000ft), -90C. Athough I suspect that was due in part to horrendous windchill.
