And another thing. The incentive pay that the FEDERATION negotiated is preventing redundancies in this downturn. The incentive pay system works for the company as well as the pilots. If the flying increases the pilots will work harder (to certain limits), get paid more and the company does not have to hire any more pilots to cover this increase in workload. IE there is great flexibility in the system. Conversely when the flying decreases, the company pays out less in salary to the pilots but the pilots remain employed. There are no redundancies (to certain limits).

You see that great things can be achieved when you look for win/win situations and don't treat the company as the bad guy but work with them to achieve benefits for both parties. Pretty radical EH!!

And to threecombs I would say this. You say that you and your colleagues with similar beliefs will be nice to someone's face and yet be nasty behind their back. This says so much about you. You do not have the courage of your convictions to voice your opinions to others regardless of their beliefs IE enter into reasonable debate. Therefore your statements can't be trusted as they might be lies. You have, by your own admission, no integrity.
