Cardiff has lost its Canada route. Globespan have axed the route to Toronto for summer 09.
Now there is no Canada service since the 70's!
Summer 09 is going to be one of the worst on record!
-No Warsaw, Lisbon, Tornoto, Newquay
-TOM reducing frequency
-No 4th Aircraft for WW
-No Flybe Expansion
-No Florida flights
-WW reducing frequency
I blame it on the economic crisis and bloody ADVERTISMENT!! If some from Cardiff Airport reads this you need some ADVERTISMENT OF ROUTES!! i.e Billboards, Buses......
The Mahon route hasn't even been annouced! No wonder Toronto, Newquay and Lisbon all fell through! SOmething will have to kick them into shape, and i bet it won't be untill something BIG happens. Im thinking WW dropping the base and Cardiff only becoming a airport in a W pattern which is already starting to happen!! Cardiff Airport is on a downwards spiral, it will soon be another CVT or Teeside!
