SQ111, let's just leave these guys alone ok? They have already been disappointed enough and I am sure they are letting their emotions get the hold of them when they are posting. I hope they don't mean it when they said things like all Singaporeans are @$$holes and the lot.
Avesh, you're still 22 (that is if your profile is accurate). You have LOTS of time left for you to achieve your dream of flying. If not SIA, then other airlines. Like you said, SIA is not the only airline in the world. SIA went over to India to recruit pilots and not to waste your time, and theirs. I'm sure they also spent a whole lot of money doing that, money that could have been spent on expensive Jet-A1. Things just didn't work out with the economy so they are not taking anyone in now. If the economy was booming, trust me, you would have gotten your interview. Anyway back then in 2005, they did bring in some pilots. They are doing well in SIACargo.
