JB; Thank you for the FRC info.

I supervised a Mk2 Chinook unit for 6 months, Mar to Aug '94. The FRCs appeared to be Mk 1 Chinook with extra "MK2" bits stuck in, from signal format.

I just wondered when the proper MK2 FRCs were produced!
