Let's say in year 4 at Jetstar you are a captain on the A320 on 200K. How does that compare with QF after 4 years??
You do keep pulling away once a Captain in QF. But that is 13 - 15 years from starting. The JQ guy has been on 200k since year 4. That's the pay side of the scale. Then add in job satisfaction (career growth/responsibility) and JQ starts to look more appealling.
