sundaun; If my memory serves me correctly Dennis Douglas did have a lodge at Tapini similar to the one at Woitape, but it was well and truly closed for business even when I started with Dz in January 1990.
Had many a good cup of coffee at the Woitape lodge between flights and can remember one certain Dz Pilot who quite often used to be 'caught on ground at Woitape due weather'
which enabled him to stay overnight!
Someone eventually twigged to what was going on and word came down from on-high that the next time it happened there had bloody well be bad weather there!!
