Fuel flow = lb (for eg) per hour
Groundspeed = nm per hour

Divide one by the other and you will get lbs per nm or nm per lb of fuel burnt.

600 lb per hour @ gs of 120 Kts = 5 lb per nm travelled or 0.2 nm travelled per 1 lb fuel burnt.
