Aerbabe - for fixed wing, runway 26 requires an approach on about 240 (ish) then a 20 degree turn AT the runway, but honestly, it's OK!! Reason: there is an Esso petrol station on what would be very short final to 26 if we did straight-ins, so we don't fly over it! You just ensure during the last 20 feet of descent that your momentum has successfully come round the 20 degress with you! (ie: if you just yawed 20 degrees to align with the 26 runway, the aircraft would still be travelling 240 - and I'm not sure the undercarriage would like it - neither would the aircraft like a steep turn only 20' up at low speed) - just make sure you keep a proper approach speed, and keep it as you come round the extra 20 degrees properly, then treat the final 20 feet as if you had been flying straight in all the time!
f-f-fun- doesn't matter if we tell them twice they just stick one entry in their events list no matter.
