That's not the complete picture I'm afraid! CityJet takes over the route from VLM and KLM, so AF-KLM seat capacity on LCY-AMS stays roughly the same since the FK50s will disappear from this route alltogether. VLM was taken over by AF-KLM through CityJet, the major player at LCY is now AF-KLM (read: CityJet). I am sure VLM did not like pulling out of AMS, this was clearly a decision by the new owners. VLM will keep their brand, but CityJet-decals have already magically appeared on their aircraft. They will benefit from joining the AF-KLM frequent flyer programme, but will have to concede some 'autonomy'...
