Thanks 'TMB' for the reminiscences.
I trained at the Royal, commenced in '63 on Chippys, and stayed there only because of the Chippys - nobody else used them at the time.
I did fly with some marvellous people, but did my CPL / Instr elsewhere on the field.
Those were quite busy days as well, and the 'all over' field was something I look back on and wonder just how we managed to keep all of those silly little aeroplanes doing circuits in an 'orderly' manner.
I think we called most of it 'Airmanship', and we wore it like a badge.
