Well done the Chinook wing for winning best unit for its effort over the last year in Afghanistan (and since 2006 as well) at the Sun Military Awards. It was humbling to see soldiers who are the REAL heroes in all of this standing to applaud the Chinook personel.
Impressive pictures of the chinook hit by an RPG. Well done the crew for bringing this one home.
