Aer Lingus new base..
I just cant imagine AerLingus would go near BHX for a base, it would be lunacy.
LGW may be a distinct possibility as there is a limiting factor so unlikely FR could get enough slots to penetrate their business severly (well from LGW anyway) in addition, I can only see that the real interest that Aer Lingus would have at LGW would be America with so many routes being closed and moved to LHR.
Or is there something happening with slots that BA is to drop from LGW, if something is afoot timing of code share on LCY DUB may be part of something bigger?
