It always amuses me when I read all these articles supporting the need for expansion at Bhd, how Bfs is too far out from Belfast, Bhd much more convenient. I wonder how many of those same people will travel down to Dublin and have no problem with convenience? The statement from Flybe is right, Bhd is now being turned into something that it was never designed for. I read recently, after all the money spent on extending the runway at Ldy, that Fr have cut a large number of flights there this winter. So why where people evicted from their homes? For little purpose now. And if you are one of the supporters of the Bhd extension, would you be happy to be evicted to make way for it? I know that is not necessary at Bhd, but in principle, would you like to be thrown from your home to please Bhd and Fr? The trouble with some companies, they can never get enough.
